Just as a disclaimer, B is feeling a little dramatic today so you can’t take anything he says too seriously. He’s a little put out about some changes coming to our family.
You guys. I am so stinkin’ mad. I’ve never been so mad. I’m so mad, I can’t even look at you guys. Nothing can quell this rage. Not even aggressively licking A’s face until he pushes me off.
What has gotten me to this point you ask? Well I’ll tell you. But first, let me tell you that I’m a great dog. I’m probably the greatest dog who’s ever dogged. Look it up. I doubt you’ll find any dog better.
So when my people kept leaving me at home on the weekends, I trusted them. I trusted that they were doing boring stuff I wouldn’t like doing, like not eating. So I didn’t worry too much when they came home smelling like other dogs. It’s not like they were getting another dog.
I was a fool.
They got another dog.
A big dog. He can run longer and faster than me. He doesn’t need help getting on the sofa. He can almost reach the table on his own! Well that one may be helpful for me, but still. You get the idea.
HOW COULD THEY?!
The only good thing about this is that he doesn’t live here yet because we still live with my Nana while our new house is being built. There’s still time to convince them that he’ll ruin our vibe. And track mud on A’s fancy new floors.
Wish me luck. Operation Single Dog starts today.
Wow, that was a lot of anger trapped in just 12 pounds. Hopefully we can work some of that out before too long. But B is right. We have added another dog to our family. His name is R and he’s a year old German Shorthaired Pointer who officially joins our family when we move into our new house. Make sure to keep an eye on my Instagram for more photos of R. And feel free to leave any tips on how to make the transition a little smoother in the comments!
