Getting My Next Fashion Fix: Stitch Fix Recap #11

What is it about short weeks that makes it seem to take forever to get to Friday?  I swear, the four work days have felt like 14 this week.  But here we are-finally Friday! And I’m rocking some new clothes thanks to my most recent Stitch Fix.

Item #1: Daniel Rainn Bilson Pleated Blouse.  This was clothing love at first sight. I have a hard time saying no to a printed tunic, especially as we get closer to fall.  This will pair well with skinny jeans and leggings, two of my fall staples.  Plus it came complete with a built in camisole!

Item #2: Gilli Beville Dress. I was thisclose to keeping this dress because it was finally high enough in the front! But then the fun back detail was too low. I would have needed to wear a camisole under the dress or a sweater over the top and I don’t like purchasing clothes that are that limiting. So this dress went back.

Item #3: Pixley Brook Dot Print Tie-Waist Top. This was such a cute top! I really liked it, but ultimately decided to send it back for a variety of different reasons (too summery, too much like other shirts I already owned, etc.).

Item #4: Pixley Selena Pleated Skirt. This was another almost keeper, but it was just a tad too short to wear to work.  I couldn’t justify keeping it for the price when it was so limited in use.

Item #5: Sweet Grey Jafar Peplum Back Cardigan.  This was a definite keeper. I was in need of a neutral cardigan and it is made of the softest material. Plus the peplum detail on the back gave it a little more style.
